Folder Size Shell Extension is a very handy freeware utility that lets you see the sizes of all the subfolders within a folder, in a hierarchical fashion - great way to find out why your mighty(?) 200GB hard drive is cramped for free space.

Once you run it, it sits as a tab in the Properties context menu (yes, the one where you right-click-on-folder-then-click-Properties). You can then drill down into child folders, sort by name/size, change the units between KB/MB/GB …
